Our Story

Hi, I'm Felicia - and I started this brand at 7 years old.

My little sister loves to look amazing. Every holiday, every beach day, every sunny morning - she wanted the full look. Colourful braids, beautiful hair, the works.

But watching my mum try to get her ready? That was a whole other story.

So I decided to fix it.

The Idea

I wanted to create something that made my little sister feel like a mermaid princess - and gave my mum her morning back. Something so easy, so quick, and so gorgeous that any busy mum could do it in under a minute, no salon, no stress, no drama.

That's how Mermaid Braids was born.

Every set of braids in our shop is designed for girls who want to look incredible and mums who have approximately 60 seconds to make it happen. Colourful, holiday-ready, clip-in braids that go from the packet to your daughter's hair before your coffee gets cold.

Because summer should be fun. Not a battle with a hairbrush.
